Debating Achievements (2015-16)

  1. Winner, People Speak Parliamentary Debate, Sri Venketeshwara College, Delhi University (Sanjeevi Seshadri (5th Year) and Raunaq Chandrashekar (5th Year) were adjudged BEST and 2nd BEST speakers respectively).
  2. Winner, BITS National Parliamentary Debate, BITS Pilani Goa Campus. (Tarun Sundaram (2nd Year) and Kaustub Narendran (2nd Year) were adjudged BEST and 2nd BEST speaker respectively)
  3. Winner, Frank Thakur Das Memorial Parliamentary Debate, Kirorimal College, Delhi University. (Raunaq Chandrashekar (5th Year) was adjudged the 3rd BEST speaker)
  4. Winner, 67th Mukerji Memorial Parliamentary Debate, St. Stephens College, Delhi University. (Raunaq Chandrashekar (5th Year) was adjudged the BEST speaker)
  5. Winner, Polemic National Parliamentary Debate, Ramjas College, Delhi University. (Raunaq Chandrashekar (5th Year) was adjudged the 2rd BEST speaker)
  6. Winner, 9th Shanti Narayan Parliamentary Debate, Hindu College, Delhi University. (Raunaq Chandrashekar (5th Year) was adjudged the BEST speaker)
  7. Runner-up, IIT-Delhi Parliamentary Debate, IIT-Delhi. (Kaustub Narendran (2nd Year) was adjudged the 2rd BEST speaker)

A team consisting of Sanya Sud, Saniya Sharma, Dev Dutta Mukhopadhyay and Hardik Singh from NLU, Delhi participated in the 11th ICC Mediation Competition, 2016, held in Paris and received Best Mediation Advocacy Award from ICC besides receiving excellent feedback from judges.
